
NTPC Green Energy Limited has expanded its renewable energy portfolio with the addition of new solar capacity, reinforcing its growth in the clean energy segment.
The company has declared commercial operation of 87.5 MW solar capacity from its 150 MW project in Rajasthan. The project is being executed through Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary under its joint venture.
This marks another milestone in NTPC Green’s ongoing capacity addition strategy.
With the commissioning of this capacity, the total commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy group has reached 10,276.40 MW, while overall installed capacity has increased to 10,363.90 MW.
The addition reflects steady progress in scaling up renewable energy assets.
The new capacity aligns with NTPC Green’s broader focus on expanding its solar and renewable energy footprint. Incremental capacity additions are expected to support long-term clean energy targets and improve generation mix.

As of 17 April 2026, NTPC Green share price is trading at ₹112.16 per share, reflecting a surge of 3.10% from the previous closing price.
