
NBCC (India) Limited has been awarded a new project management consultancy contract valued at approximately ₹58.61 crore. The project has been awarded by Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University located in Baripada, Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.
The contract forms part of the university’s infrastructure development initiative aimed at expanding and improving campus facilities through a government-supported grant.
Under the contract, NBCC will provide project management consultancy services for the construction and development of several infrastructure components within the university campus. The project includes construction of various buildings, internal roads and drainage systems.
In addition to civil construction works, the project will also include electrical and mechanical works required to support the infrastructure development. These developments are expected to enhance the university’s facilities and support its academic and administrative functions.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and falls under the project management consultancy (PMC) category. The total approximate value of the project is ₹58.61 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).
NBCC, a public sector enterprise known for executing large infrastructure and redevelopment projects, will oversee the planning, coordination and execution of the project to ensure that it meets the required quality and development standards.
On March 24, 2026, NBCC (India) share price opened at ₹82.00. At 10:35 AM, the share price of NBCC (India) was trading at ₹80.34, up by 1.58% on the NSE.

The new order strengthens NBCC’s presence in the infrastructure development sector, particularly in educational institutions. The project is expected to contribute to improved campus infrastructure at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University while further expanding NBCC’s project portfolio in the public sector infrastructure space.
