The company's net profit for the June 2026 quarter saw a 37.0% YoY increase, reaching ₹5,997.56 crore, compared to ₹4,376.58 crore a year ago.
QoQ, the net profit rose by 14.0% from ₹5,259.91 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
Financial Year 2026 Overview
For the financial year 2026, Mahindra & Mahindra's total income stood at ₹2,02,084.34 crore. The net profit for the same period was ₹18,621.71 crore, reflecting the company's financial performance over the year.
Automotive Segment and Market Leadership
The Automotive division remained the primary engine of growth for the group, capturing a consolidated revenue of ₹34,387 crore in Q1 FY27, which marks a 32% expansion over the ₹25,999 crore recorded in the prior year's matching period.
Total vehicles sold under standalone and corporate segments combined reached 3,04,421 units, ticking up by 23% year-on-year.
Mahindra & Mahindra successfully sustained its absolute leadership position across key domestic fields, securing the number one rank in SUVs with a revenue market share of 25.0% and an overall volume spike of 15%.
It also claimed the peak position in Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs <3.5T) with a 52.0% market share, alongside a dominant 39.5% market share in the electric three-wheeler ecosystem.
Consolidated automotive PAT for the quarter stood at ₹2,129 crore, growing 21% year-on-year.
Farm Equipment and Services Sectors
The Farm Equipment segment also delivered robust resilience against macro headwinds, generating a consolidated sector revenue of ₹12,501 crore during Q1 FY27, a 15% increase compared to ₹10,892 crore in Q1 FY26.
Total tractor sales volumes climbed 18% to reach 1,58,041 units, which helped the company gain 280 basis points quarter-on-quarter to establish a dominant domestic tractor market share of 44.9%.
Standing alongside the industrial blocks, the combined consolidated Services sector comprising financial systems, IT, and consumer services, surged 31% to bring in a revenue of ₹12,899 crore.
This vertical’s consolidated PAT leaped by an outstanding 80% to arrive at ₹1,805 crore, driven by a 13% asset under management (AUM) growth at MMFSL, a 330 basis point EBIT margin expansion at Tech Mahindra, and a two-fold PAT jump at Mahindra Lifespaces.
