
On July 28, 2026, Ambuja Cements Limited released its consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.
The company reported a decrease in total income and net profit compared to the same period last year and the previous quarter.
In the June 2026 quarter, Ambuja Cements' total income decreased by 8.3% year-on-year to ₹9,669 crore, down from ₹10,545 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
Compared to the March 2026 quarter, the total income fell by 13.3% from ₹11,149 crore.
Net profit for the June 2026 quarter stood at ₹660 crore, marking a 36.6% decline from ₹1,041 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, net profit decreased by 64.5% from ₹1,857 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
For the financial year 2026, Ambuja Cements reported a total income of ₹41,490 crore. The net profit for the year amounted to ₹5,637 crore.
The company delivered an Operating EBITDA of ₹1,589 crores, marking a 3.3 percentage point expansion in sequential EBITDA margins to 16.7%.
Operational excellence frameworks helped achieve a cash cost reduction of ₹206 Per Metric Tonne (PMT) quarter-on-quarter, which successfully countered peak energy inflation caused by West Asia geopolitical tensions.
Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹660 crores, backed by a resilient capital structure.
The infrastructure major continues to remain entirely debt-free, maintaining a strong net worth of ₹71,954 crores alongside a cash balance of ₹844 crores.
"We have started FY'27 with strong momentum, driven by our focus on value-led growth, premiumisation and disciplined execution," stated Mr. Vinod Bahety, Whole Time Director and CEO of Ambuja Cements.
Management verified that trial manufacturing cycles have actively commenced at the Dahej, Salai Banwa, Bathinda, and Jodhpur lines.
Supported by strong operating cash flows, the firm is on schedule to scale its total cement manufacturing capacity from the existing 109 MTPA up to 119 MTPA by the end of fiscal year 2027.
