Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited has reassured customers that there is no shortage of LPG cylinders and asked people not to panic.

The company stated that it has enough supply in place and customers will receive their cylinders on time.

Panic Triggered by Global Concerns

Concerns about LPG shortages grew due to tensions in the Middle East, especially involving the Strait of Hormuz, which is an important route for energy supplies.

These fears increased after a recent rise in LPG prices, leading to long queues at gas agencies in some areas.

Company Ensures Smooth Distribution

BPCL said it is actively working to maintain an uninterrupted supply across its network.

The company also requested customers to:

  • Book cylinders through official channels
  • Avoid panic or advance bookings
  • Help prevent unnecessary pressure on supply systems

BPCL emphasised that it is committed to keeping household kitchens running without disruption.

Similar Assurance from Indian Oil

Indian Oil Corporation also issued a similar statement for its LPG customers.

The company said that LPG supply remains stable, but panic bookings can temporarily increase demand and delay deliveries.
