LG Electronics India Share Price in Focus; Enters India's Chest Freezer Market with New Convertible Chest Freezer Range

LG Electronics India has entered the chest freezer segment in India with the launch of its Convertible Chest Freezer range.  

The company announced the launch on September 17, 2026, adding the category to its refrigeration portfolio. The range has six models. 

Models and Prices 

The portfolio covers four gross capacities: 102L, 205L, 315L, and 530L. Models are available under the PRO and PLUS series, with prices ranging from ₹28,990 to ₹62,990. 

The 102L PRO is priced at ₹28,990 and the 205L PRO at ₹37,990. The 315L PLUS costs ₹38,990, while the 315L PRO is priced at ₹48,990. The 530L PLUS and PRO models cost ₹51,990 and ₹62,990, respectively. 

Cooling and Freezing Options 

Select PRO models can be switched between cooling and deep-freezing using one-touch operation. Digital temperature control and a digital temperature display are available on the PRO series. 

The PLUS models use knob temperature controls and have a range of -25°C to +5°C. The 315L and 530L PRO models carry 5-star BEE ratings. The other models have 3-star or 4-star ratings. 

Insulation and Other Features 

The range uses a 70mm PUF-insulated cabinet, 75mm insulated door and 100mm insulated mid-section. The freezers also have UV-protected bodies, flushed locks and removable gaskets. 

Castor wheels with brakes are included for movement. Features include pocket handles, LED lights, and premium baskets. PRO models have digital controls and temperature displays. 

Business Applications 

LG said the chest freezers are intended for cold-storage requirements across retail, HoReCa, dairy, ice cream, pharmaceutical and food storage businesses. The company has included household usage as stated applications.

As of September 17, 2026, 3:27 pm, LG Electronics India share price was trading at ₹1,652.90, a 1.52% increase from the previous closing price.
