
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has strengthened its international presence with the signing of a new property in Nepal.
The company announced the addition of Lemon Tree Hotel, Bandipur, marking another step in its expansion across key leisure and tourism destinations outside India.
The upcoming Lemon Tree Hotel, Bandipur, Nepal will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.
The hotel will feature 80 well-appointed rooms, along with a restaurant and bar, a banquet hall, a meeting room, and recreational amenities including a swimming pool, spa, and fitness centre.
Located in Bandipur in Nepal’s Tanahun District, the property sits at a height of around 1,030 metres and is accessible via a 1,700-metre cable car ride. The hilltop town is known for its preserved Newari architecture and cultural heritage and offers panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges and the Marsyangdi Valley.
The site is positioned between Kathmandu and Pokhara, approximately 145 km from Tribhuvan International Airport and about 75 km from Pokhara International Airport.
As per exchange filings, Vilas Pawar, CEO – Managed & Franchise Business at Lemon Tree Hotels, said, “We are thrilled to deepen our presence in Nepal, complementing our existing portfolio of two operational hotels and three upcoming properties. This latest signing further expands our footprint in this dynamic market.”
He added that the move reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering hospitality experiences catering to both business and leisure travellers across geographies.

As of December 16, 2025, at 10:20 AM, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited share price is trading at ₹162.17 per share, reflecting a gain of 0.57% from the previous closing price. Over the past month, the stock has gained by 3.46%.
With the signing of the Bandipur property, Lemon Tree Hotels continues to expand its presence in Nepal by adding a destination-led hotel that blends leisure infrastructure with cultural and natural appeal, in line with its strategy to grow its managed and franchise portfolio across high-potential domestic and international markets.
