L&T Technology Services Share Price in Focus; Partners with Cognite to Expand Industrial AI Solutions

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has entered into a strategic partnership with Cognite to jointly develop and deliver Industrial AI and data solutions, as per the exchange filing. The collaboration will extend LTTS’ Engineering Intelligence portfolio with Cognite’s Industrial AI capabilities.
As part of the partnership, LTTS has set up a dedicated Cognite Center of Excellence and certified more than 50 engineers. The two companies are also working on industry-specific solutions for customers across several asset-intensive sectors.
Partnership Targets Multiple Industrial Sectors
The companies will work with customers in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, LNG, CPG/FMCG, Mining and Industrial Manufacturing markets globally.
LTTS brings its experience in engineering, manufacturing operations and asset lifecycle management, while Cognite contributes to its Industrial AI and data capabilities.
AI Solutions to Cover Industrial Operations
The partnership will focus on applications including AI-powered industrial solutions, digital twins, predictive maintenance, and operational intelligence platforms.
The companies intend to use these capabilities across asset-intensive businesses, where engineering and operational data can be brought together for industrial workflows.
First Project Already Underway
LTTS and Cognite have already started their first joint project with a global top-ten oil and gas company.
The project is focused on converting a manual mechanical-integrity process into a contextualised and scalable digital workflow. According to the companies, this is intended to help engineers work more efficiently, identify risks faster and prevent downtime and safety events.
Cognite Sees Scope for Joint Solutions
Girish Rishi, CEO of Cognite, said the company's growing presence across industries complements LTTS’ domain and engineering expertise.
He added that the partnership is aimed at creating value for joint customers as AI becomes more widely used in modern manufacturing.
LTTS Plans to Combine AI With Engineering Expertise
Amit Chadha, CEO & Managing Director of LTTS and Member of Nasscom Executive Council, said industries are increasingly looking to move AI beyond experimentation and need connected industrial workflows to do so.
He said the companies will integrate Cognite’s capabilities with LTTS’ EIOne to co-create solutions for complex industrial challenges and help enterprises improve productivity, asset performance, operational resilience and business value.
