
Karnataka Bank has introduced KBL Finsurance, a new digital platform aimed at making insurance services more efficient across its branch network. The platform will help branch staff generate, track and monitor insurance business leads while improving customer service and operational efficiency.
The launch is part of the bank's ongoing digital transformation strategy and is expected to strengthen its bancassurance business.
The KBL Finsurance platform has been developed in partnership with SprintMoney, a fintech company operated by Wildflower Business Services Pvt. Ltd.
SprintMoney provides a range of digital solutions for banks and financial institutions, including customer relationship management (CRM), digital wealth management, relationship management tools, secured lending platforms, and digital insurance solutions.
Through this partnership, Karnataka Bank has integrated the platform with its insurance partners, allowing branches to connect with insurance companies through a single digital portal.

Speaking about the launch, Raghavendra S. Bhat, Managing Director & CEO of Karnataka Bank, said the KBL Finsurance platform represents another important step in the bank's digital transformation journey.
He said the platform will improve bancassurance operations by enabling branches with real-time capabilities, increasing service efficiency and strengthening customer engagement. According to him, the initiative also supports the bank's vision of offering a wide range of financial solutions under one roof.

He added that the platform has been designed to simplify insurance services through automated workflows and integration with insurance partners. He also expressed confidence that KBL Finsurance will support the growth of Karnataka Bank's insurance business while improving customer experience, operational efficiency and governance.

He noted that the automation and real-time insights provided by the platform will help improve branch productivity, strengthen monitoring and enable staff to deliver a better customer experience while supporting long-term growth in the bank's bancassurance business.
The launch event was attended by senior officials from Karnataka Bank along with representatives from various life and general insurance companies associated with the bank's insurance business.
