
ITC Hotels Ltd has been allotted leasehold land at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, New Delhi, for a hotel development. The allotment has been made by India International Convention and Exhibition Centre Limited (IICC), a Government of India enterprise, the company said in a regulatory filing dated January 9, 2026.
The land has been granted on a long-term lease for a period of about 91 years. ITC Hotels will pay a lease premium of ₹326.50 crore for the allotment. The company stated that the transaction is domestic in nature and does not involve any overseas counterparty.
Land Area and Construction Limits
According to the filing, the allotted land has a ground coverage of approximately 3,648 square metres. The permissible floor area ratio for the site is about 26,179 square metres.
A sub-lease-cum-development agreement will be executed between IICC and ITC Hotels to set out the terms for development and use of the land.
Intended Use of the Site
The land is set aside for the development and operation of a five-star hotel. The proposed property is expected to include banqueting facilities and food and beverage services.
The hotel is planned to cater to demand arising from conventions, exhibitions, conferences and other events held at Yashobhoomi.
Context of the Yashobhoomi Complex
Yashobhoomi has been developed as a large convention and exhibition centre in the national capital. It has already hosted several trade shows and organised events.
The addition of a hotel within the complex is aimed at meeting accommodation and event-related requirements at the venue.
Regulatory and Ownership Disclosures
ITC Hotels clarified that neither its promoter nor promoter group has any interest in IICC. The company also stated that the allotment does not fall under related-party transactions. The arrangement has been disclosed in line with SEBI’s listing and disclosure requirements.
Existing Presence in Delhi-NCR
The company currently operates 10 hotels across the Delhi-NCR region. These properties are spread across brands such as ITC Hotels, Welcomhotel and Fortune. Together, they account for a total of 1,599 rooms, as per company disclosures.
ITC Hotels Share Price Performance
As of January 12, 2026, 9:56 am, ITC Hotels share price was trading at ₹191.94, a 1.44% down from the previous closing price.
