Infosys has expanded its work with Truist as the US bank builds up its technology and operations centre in Hyderabad. The companies announced the development on October 19, 2026, as per the exchange filing.

More Than 1,000 Employees to Join

As part of the expanded partnership, more than 1,000 employees are expected to be onboarded later this month. Truist is bringing together work currently handled by multiple service providers in India under a more integrated operating model.

The Hyderabad centre will bring technology, data, AI and operations teams closer together. Truist expects the setup to help it reduce reliance on outside vendors and make collaboration across its global teams easier.

Focus on AI and Banking Technology

Infosys will use its financial services experience and its AI platform, Infosys Topaz, to support the centre's development.

The plan is to build a centre of excellence that can eventually operate independently, while helping Truist expand its digital capabilities and improve customer experience.

Truist, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, had total assets of $556 billion as of June 30, 2026. The bank said the Hyderabad centre is part of its longer-term investment in AI-enabled operations and technology.

Conclusion

The expanded partnership gives Infosys a larger role in Truist's India operations as the bank brings more work under one setup in Hyderabad. More than 1,000 employees are expected to join the centre this month, with AI, technology and banking operations at the heart of the collaboration.
