Infosys and Anthropic have announced a strategic collaboration to develop advanced AI solutions for regulated industries, starting with telecommunications. 

Collaboration Focus and Initial Rollout 

The partnership integrates Infosys Topaz AI with Anthropic's Claude models, including Claude Code, to automate workflows, accelerate software delivery, and build agentic AI systems.  

The initial focus is telecommunications via a dedicated Anthropic Center of Excellence, with plans to expand into financial services, manufacturing, and software development. 

AI Applications Across Industries 

Solutions will target: 

  • Telecommunications: Network operations modernization, customer lifecycle management, and service delivery automation.
  • Financial services: Risk detection, compliance automation, and personalized customer interactions.
  • Manufacturing: Accelerated product design and simulation through AI-driven engineering.
  • Software development: Code generation, testing, and debugging using Claude Code.

Dario Amodei, Anthropic CEO, emphasized Infosys's domain expertise in closing the gap between AI demos and real-world regulated industry applications.  

Salil Parekh, Infosys CEO, stated the collaboration redefines industry operations through AI, driving resilience and responsibility. 

Implementation and Expertise 

Infosys is deploying Claude Code internally within its Exponential Engineering organization to develop best practices for client engagements. The partnership aims to modernize legacy systems and reduce infrastructure update costs.
