Infosys has reportedly fixed the average performance bonus at about 85% for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (Q3FY26), according to The Economic Times reports. The payout is the highest seen by eligible employees in more than 3 years.
For mid- and junior-level staff, the variable pay is said to range between 75% and 100% of the target amount. Most employees are understood to be near the company-wide average.
The latest payout follows a gradual rise over the past few quarters. Variable pay had dropped to around 65% earlier, before moving up to roughly 75-80%. The Q3FY26 figure is the highest in the current financial year and above any quarter in FY25.
Some employees reported receiving up to 15% more than in the previous quarter, while a few said they received the full payout.
Bonus letters are expected to be shared in the coming days. The payout is scheduled to be credited along with the February salary, according to the reports.
Infosys has around 323,000 employees globally. The company completed its appraisal cycle for the period November 2024 to October 2025, with individual ratings released in December.
The improved payout follows a quarter that saw stable deal activity. When announcing its third-quarter results in January, the company raised its revenue guidance for the year, citing better-than-expected performance.
Reportedly, at an internal town hall last month, the human resources team had indicated that variable pay would be higher than in earlier quarters.
The payout comes at a time when global technology stocks have seen volatility, as investors assess how advances in artificial intelligence may affect demand for traditional IT services.

As of February 16, 2026, 09:22 am, Infosys share price was trading at ₹1,349.30, a 1.45% decrease from the previous closing price.
The Q3FY26 payout marks a higher variable pay level after several softer quarters. Employees are now waiting for details on annual salary revisions for the current cycle.
