
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced its entry into the commercial mobility segment with the launch of the Prime Taxi Range, featuring the Prime HB (hatchback) and Prime SD (sedan). This move aims to cater to the needs of fleet operators and taxi entrepreneurs across India.
The Prime Taxi Range is designed to meet the evolving demands of commercial vehicle operators. Both the Prime HB and Prime SD are equipped with a 1.2L Kappa 4-cylinder engine, available in petrol and CNG variants, ensuring lower operating costs.
The starting prices are ₹5,99,900 for Prime HB and ₹6,89,900 for Prime SD, making them attractive options for commercial buyers.
Bookings for these models are now open at all Hyundai dealerships in India with a booking amount of ₹5,000. These vehicles are engineered to offer reliability, low cost of ownership, and superior comfort, enhancing the earning potential for taxi operators.
The Prime range comes with a host of safety and convenience features, including 6 airbags, rear AC vents, steering-mounted audio controls, and a speed-limiting function.
Additionally, Hyundai offers an extended warranty of up to 5 years or 1,80,000 km, ensuring peace of mind for high-mileage users.

Hyundai provides flexible finance options with repayment tenures of up to 72 months, making it accessible for first-time and expanding fleet operators. The vehicles also boast impressive fuel efficiency, with the Prime SD offering 28.40 km/kg and the Prime HB 27.32 km/kg.
Understanding the diverse needs of taxi operators, Hyundai offers optional accessories such as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a vehicle location tracking device with panic buttons. The Prime HB and Prime SD are available in three colours: Atlas White, Typhoon Silver, and Abyss Black.
