
Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. (GMDC) reported its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, while its Board also approved Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. (GNFC) and IREL (India) Ltd. to explore opportunities in coal gasification and rare earth elements, as per the exchange filings.
The Board approved an MoU with Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GNFC) to jointly evaluate opportunities across the coal-to-chemicals value chain using gasification technologies, including Underground Coal Gasification (UCG).
GMDC also approved an MoU with IREL (India) Ltd. to explore collaboration opportunities in the Rare Earth Elements (REE) sector. The company said detailed disclosures will be made after the execution of both agreements.
On a standalone basis, revenue from operations increased to ₹906.64 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹732.60 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting a 23.7% YoY increase. However, revenue declined 11.4% QoQ from ₹814.05 crore reported in Q4 FY26.
Net profit after tax stood at ₹163.01 crore, compared with ₹164.13 crore a year earlier, remaining largely flat with a 0.7% YoY decline. Sequentially, profit fell 26.3% QoQ from ₹221.18 crore reported in the previous quarter.

As of July 31, 2026, at 3:30 PM, GMDC share price is closed at ₹564.65 per share, reflecting a surge of 0.89% from the previous trading session.
GMDC reported higher revenue but lower sequential profitability for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company also approved MoUs with GNFC and IREL (India) to evaluate opportunities in coal gasification technologies and the rare earth elements sector.
