EPL Share Price in Focus; Invests ₹144.54 Million in Thailand Subsidiary

EPL Limited has strengthened its presence in Thailand by making an additional investment in its wholly owned subsidiary, EPL Packaging (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (EPTL). 

The company invested 49.5 million Thai Baht, equivalent to approximately ₹144.54 million, on 3 July 2026 to subscribe to additional shares in the subsidiary.  

Investment Details 

The fresh investment will be used to subscribe to 485,100 equity shares of EPTL, each having a face value of 100 Thai Baht. 

In addition, Lamitube Technologies Ltd. (LTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of EPL Limited, will subscribe to 4,900 shares of EPTL, also having a face value of 100 Thai Baht each.  

Shareholding Remains Unchanged 

Following the investment, EPTL will continue to remain a wholly owned subsidiary of EPL Limited. 

The shareholding structure remains unchanged, with EPL Limited holding 99% of the company and Lamitube Technologies Ltd. holding the remaining 1%. The investment formalities are expected to be completed by 14 August 2026.  

Thailand Business 

EPTL was incorporated on 4 February 2025 to pursue growth opportunities in Thailand and is engaged in the manufacturing and trading of laminated tubes. 

The company has a registered capital of 1,590,000 shares with a paid-up share capital of 1,590,000 shares, each having a face value of 100 Thai Baht. For FY26, EPTL reported a turnover of 16,159,093.60 Thai Baht.

EPL Share Price Performance  

As of 03 July 2026, EPL Limited share price closed at ₹238 per share, reflecting a surge of 3.09% from the previous trading session. 

Conclusion 

With this additional investment, EPL Limited has further strengthened its investment in EPL Packaging (Thailand) Co. Ltd., supporting the subsidiary's expansion in Thailand while maintaining its wholly owned ownership structure.
