EMS Limited Share Price Surges; Emerges as L-1 Bidder for ₹190.8 Crore Water Infrastructure Project in Rajasthan

EMS Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder (L-1) for a water supply project in Kota, Rajasthan, with an estimated value of ₹190.863 crore (₹19,086.27 Lakhs) including GST, as per the exchange filings.
The bid was awarded by the Public Health Engineering Department of the Government of Rajasthan.
Kota Project Covers 100 MLD Water Plant
The project involves construction of a 100 MLD water treatment plant near Shivaji Park, along with the supporting infrastructure. The work includes 800 KL Break Pressure Tank and 10,665-metre clear water rising main with pipe diameters ranging from 200-700 mm.
It will also cover distribution systems in parts of Kota North Nagar Nigam and new water supply systems for Poonam Colony and J.P. Colony.
Work Includes Reservoir and Pump House
EMS will also construct a 1,500 KL Clear Water Reservoir, a pump house and a 1,500 KL Overhead Service Reservoir at a height of 20 metres near Jind Baba Mandir.
The project falls under the water supply scheme for augmentation of UWSS Kota-North. The execution period is 24 months, followed by five years of operation and maintenance after a one-year defect liability period.
EMS Awaits Letter of Award
The ₹190.8 crore figure is an estimated order value at the L-1 stage. The company said it will provide a further update after receiving the Letter of Award for the project.
EMS Limited works in water and wastewater infrastructure, with its business covering projects such as water treatment plants, sewage treatment systems, water supply networks and related infrastructure.
