
Eicher Motors Limited reported higher sales across both its commercial vehicle and motorcycle businesses during July 2026.
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) recorded 15.8% year-on-year growth, while Royal Enfield posted a 34% increase in motorcycle sales.
VECV sold 8,241 vehicles in July 2026 compared with 7,115 a year earlier.
Domestic sales increased 18.2% to 7,575 units, while exports stood at 470 units. Volvo Trucks & Buses sales rose 12% to 196 units.
On a year-to-date basis, VECV sold 33,056 vehicles, up 15.1% from 28,725 units in the corresponding period last year.
Royal Enfield sold 1,18,232 motorcycles during July, compared with 88,045 units a year ago.
Sales of motorcycles up to 350cc and EVs increased 38% to 1,05,048 units, while models above 350cc rose 10% to 13,184 units. International sales grew 10% to 12,915 units.
Year-to-date motorcycle sales reached 4,48,659 units, reflecting 27% growth over the previous year.
Royal Enfield is adding 10 Flying Flea retail touchpoints in Bengaluru after opening its first outlet in Jayanagar for the Flying Flea C6.
The company also introduced the 2026 Classic 350 with an Assist and Slipper Clutch and USB Type-C Fast Charging.
It further announced a ₹1,225 crore investment in the first phase of a new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh, which will add up to 4.5 lakh motorcycles of annual capacity and is targeted for completion in FY2029-30.
Royal Enfield concluded the 22nd Himalayan Odyssey, bringing together riders from eight countries across three expedition formats covering more than 4,200 km.
The Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts limited edition, restricted to 100 motorcycles globally, attracted over 9,000 registrations, with the 25 motorcycles allocated to India selling out in three minutes.
B. Govindarajan, Managing Director, Eicher Motors and CEO, Royal Enfield, described July as a month of "steady performance" and an "encouraging response" to the Flying Flea C6.
