On January 13, 2026, Dynamatic Technologies Limited declared the readiness for delivery of all 8 doors for the Airbus A220. This includes main passenger doors, service doors, cargo doors, and over-wing emergency exit doors.
The event was held at the company's Bengaluru facility, attended by key figures such as Shri Samir Kumar Sinha, Civil Aviation Secretary of India, and Mr Jürgen Westermeier, President and Managing Director of Airbus India and South Asia.
During the handover ceremony, Shri Samir Kumar Sinha expressed pride in this achievement, highlighting it as a momentous occasion for India's aerospace sector. He congratulated the Dynamatic team and Airbus for their collaboration in making this feat possible.
Dr Udayant Malhoutra, CEO & MD of Dynamatic Technologies, emphasised the high indigenous content of over 99% in these aerostructures, achieved through partnerships with Airbus and domestic suppliers.
This delivery positions India as a crucial hub in Airbus' global supply chain, reinforcing the 'Make in India' vision by establishing a significant aerospace export program. Dynamatic Technologies' collaboration with various Indian aerospace players is not only creating jobs but also fostering advanced capabilities in the sector.
