
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has secured an additional allocation under its existing Letter of Empanelment and Rate Contract from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL).
The company said the latest allocation of ₹64.99 crores is in addition to the Letter of Empanelment and Rate Contract announced earlier.
The contract has been awarded by MSEDCL for the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of Off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) across various locations in Maharashtra.
Under the contract, Crompton will supply and install 3,000 Off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems.
The scope of work also includes complete system warranty, repair and maintenance services, along with a Remote Monitoring System (RMS) for five years under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Pump Yojana (MTSKPY)/PM-KUSUM-B scheme.
The company said the order is to be executed within 60 days from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) or work order.
The project has been awarded by a domestic entity and forms part of Maharashtra's initiative to promote solar-powered irrigation infrastructure.

As of 08 July 2026, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals share price was closed at ₹258.90 per share, reflecting a decline of 3.58% from the previous trading session.
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has secured an additional ₹65 crore order from MSEDCL for the supply and installation of 3,000 off-grid solar water pumping systems under the PM-KUSUM-B scheme. The order strengthens the company's renewable energy order book while expanding its participation in government-backed solar irrigation projects.
