Coforge Share Price Surges Over 3% As It Expands Kraków Engineering Centre with AI Focus

Coforge is expanding its engineering centre in Kraków, Poland, as the facility takes on more clients and a wider range of technology work. As per the exchange filing, the centre, which opened in 2025, has grown from supporting one anchor engagement to handling work across multiple clients and practices.
More than 375 engineers are currently working at the centre. Coforge expects that number to rise to over 660 professionals by 2027 as the facility expands further.
More Space Added in Kraków
The company has added more than 20,000 sq. ft. of workspace at the Kraków centre. The additional space is intended to accommodate a larger workforce and growing client requirements.
The centre now handles AI-first engineering, cloud and modernisation services for clients across different markets.
Clients Span Multiple Industries
Coforge's Kraków operations currently serve clients from sectors including travel, banking, logistics, retail and enterprise services. The centre is positioned as a nearshore delivery location for European and global work.
Kraków also gives Coforge access to engineering graduates and technology professionals, while allowing teams to work closely with clients across European and UK time zones.
Management Links Expansion to AI Demand
John Speight, President & EU Geo Business Leader at Coforge, said Europe remains an important growth market for the company and that the investment reflects its focus on local talent and supporting European businesses with AI, modernisation and digital transformation.
Sunil Fernandes, Chief Operating Officer, said the expansion is being driven by rising demand for AI-enabled engineering and delivery models that combine proximity, specialised talent and speed. He also pointed to the use of hybrid human and agent Mod Squads at the centre.
