The tender, identified by ID 2025_NHAI_242354_1, was awarded on January 21, 2026. Ceigall Infra Projects will undertake the construction of the Sahebganj-Areraj-Bettiah section of NH 139W. The project is divided into 2 sections: Sahebganj to Areraj (38.362 km) and Areraj to Bettiah (40.580 km).
The project will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), a model that combines elements of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and BOT (Build, Operate, Transfer) models. This approach allows for shared risk between the government and the private sector.
The construction period for this project is set at 730 days, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance period. The total bid cost for the project is ₹2,160 crore, highlighting the scale and importance of this infrastructure development.
