On August 4, 2026, Castrol India Limited reported its unaudited financial results for the quarter and six months ending June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.  

The company experienced a rise in total income and net profit compared to the previous year and quarter.

For the quarter ending June 30, 2026, Castrol India Limited's total income reached ₹1,885.47 crore, marking a 25.2% increase from ₹1,506.09 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. 

Compared to the March 2026 quarter, total income rose by 20.2% from ₹1,568.58 crore.  

The net profit for the June 2026 quarter stood at ₹347.70 crore, reflecting a 42.5% growth from ₹244.00 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.  

Sequentially, net profit increased by 43.6% from ₹242.18 crore in the March 2026 quarter. 

Half-Yearly Financial Overview 

For the six months ending June 30, 2026, Castrol India Limited reported a total income of ₹3,454.05 crore. The net profit for this period was ₹589.88 crore. These figures indicate a robust performance for the first half of the year. 

High Interim Dividend 

In a significant move for shareholders, the Board declared an interim dividend of ₹6.25 per equity share of face value ₹5. 

Key Record and Payment Timelines Established 

The company has officially fixed Tuesday, August 11, 2026, as the record date to determine shareholder dividend eligibility. Shareholders will receive this interim dividend payment within 30 days of declaration, with the final payout scheduled on or before September 2, 2026. 

Quarterly Revenue and EBITDA Surge Significantly 

Revenue from operations for Q2 2026 jumped 25% year-on-year to ₹1,871.47 crore. Driven by supply chain agility and brand strength, the company's EBITDA rose 41% to ₹494 crore, navigating a volatile environment marked by severe commodity inflation. 

Balance Sheet Reflects Robust Asset Expansion 

Castrol’s total assets grew substantially to ₹3,879.52 crore as of June 30, 2026, compared to ₹3,394.85 crore in December 2025. This expansion was primarily driven by an increase in inventories to ₹1,041.83 crore and trade receivables to ₹757.70 crore. 

Cash Flow Position Remains Healthy 

The company generated ₹308.13 crore in net cash from operations during the six-month period. Investing activities brought in ₹289.98 crore, while financing activities utilized ₹532.55 crore, largely driven by ₹519.29 crore paid out in dividends.

Distribution Footprint and Service Network Expand 

Castrol maintained a vast national network of 160,000 retail outlets and grew its Auto Care portfolio to 40,000 physical points. Its rural footprint expanded to 45,000 outlets, driving sustained double-digit growth in those specific clusters. 

The quarter witnessed multiple product launches, including Castrol Activ Full Synthetic and upgrades to the Castrol GTX range. The brand also localized its industrial offerings by introducing Alusol SL 61 XBB, a specialized high-performance water-soluble coolant.
