Brightcom Group Share Price Surges 7%; Confirmed for Inclusion in FTSE Global Equity Index Series

Brightcom Group share price will be in focus after FTSE Russell confirmed the company's inclusion in the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (FTSE GEIS) Micro Cap Index, as per the exchange filing. The company will also be included in the FTSE Asia Pacific ex Japan ex China Micro Cap Index.  

The inclusion will take effect from September 21, 2026. Brightcom Group was first included in the FTSE index series in 2020 but was later removed after trading in its shares was suspended on June 14, 2024. Trading resumed on both BSE and NSE on July 14, 2025.  

Brightcom Group Returns to FTSE Index 

According to the company, FTSE Russell's latest review took into account its position and compliance record after trading resumed. Brightcom Group said it has maintained the required regulatory compliances since then.  

The company said its re-entry into the FTSE series marks its return to the international equity market after the trading suspension.  

Inclusion Effective September 21, 2026 

The changes from the latest FTSE Russell review are final from September 7, 2026, while Brightcom Group's actual inclusion in the relevant index will start from September 21, 2026.  

Being part of the index means the company will now be included in the FTSE Russell index universe used by investors and fund managers for tracking and analysis.

Brightcom Group Share Price Performance 

As of September 07, 2026, at 1:32 PM, Brightcom Group share price is trading at ₹9.62 per share, reflecting a surge of 7.13% from the previous trading session. 

Conclusion 

Brightcom Group has been confirmed for re-inclusion in the FTSE Global Equity Index Series Micro Cap Index, with the change becoming effective from September 21, 2026. The company was earlier removed from the index after its shares were suspended in 2024.
