Biocon Share Price in Focus; Receives Health Canada Approval for Yesintek Autoinjector Pen

Biocon Ltd. announced that its Canadian subsidiary has received Health Canada approval for the Yesintek (ustekinumab) Autoinjector Pen in 45 mg/0.5 mL and 90 mg/mL strengths, as per the exchange filings.  

The approval expands the company's immunology product portfolio in Canada.  

Approval Covers 2 Autoinjector Strengths 

Health Canada granted a Notice of Compliance (NOC) for the Yesintek® Autoinjector in 45 mg/0.5 mL and 90 mg/mL presentations.  

The company noted that Health Canada had previously approved the prefilled syringe, vial and intravenous infusion formulations of Yesintek in October 2025.  

Autoinjector Offers Additional Treatment Option 

Biocon said the availability of the Yesintek Autoinjector provides patients in Canada with a treatment option that is not offered by the originator product.  

The company added that the new presentation supports treatment across different care settings and patient needs.  

Indicated for Multiple Autoimmune Conditions 

Yesintek is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis in eligible patients, covering multiple autoimmune conditions.
