Bharti Airtel Limited is strengthening its data centre expansion strategy through its subsidiary, Nxtra Data Limited, with two proposed acquisitions in the infrastructure development space, as per the exchange filings.

Nxtra has signed agreements to acquire up to 85% equity stake each in Rochak Systems Private Limited and Rovision Tech Hub Private Limited. The acquisitions will be completed in one or more tranches.

Expansion of Data Centre Infrastructure

The proposed investments are aimed at supporting the growth of Nxtra Data's data centre business.

Both Rochak and Rovision have been established to develop land for the construction of data centres, aligning with Nxtra's infrastructure expansion plans.

Recently Incorporated Companies

The two target companies are newly incorporated entities in India.

Rochak Systems Private Limited was incorporated on May 19, 2025, while Rovision Tech Hub Private Limited was incorporated on May 15, 2025. Both companies are yet to commence commercial operations and currently have no operating turnover.

Transaction Structure

Nxtra will acquire up to an 85% stake in each company through cash consideration.

The acquisitions will be executed at an agreed valuation, although the transaction value has not been disclosed. The completion timeline will be determined through mutual agreement between the parties.

Strategic Focus

The proposed acquisitions are intended to support the development of land required for future data centre projects.

By adding stakes in Rochak and Rovision, Nxtra is expanding its platform to support the next phase of its data centre infrastructure development.
