Varroc Engineering Share Price Gains Over 8% After Q1 FY27 Earnings Results: Total Income Up 29.9% YoY

On August 6, 2026, Varroc Engineering Limited released its unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, as per the exchange filings.  

The company reported a total income of ₹2,640.43 crore and net profit of ₹77.70 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

For the quarter ending June 30, 2026, Varroc Engineering recorded a total income of ₹2,640.43 crore. This figure represents a 29.9% increase on a year-over-year basis compared to the ₹2,032.61 crore reported during the same period in the previous year.  

When evaluated on a quarter over quarter basis, the total income grew by 11.2% from the ₹2,373.62 crore reported in the quarter ending March 31, 2026. 

The net profit or profit after tax for the quarter ending June 30, 2026, reached ₹77.70 crore. This reflects a decrease of 27.7% on a year-over-year basis from the ₹107.42 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.  

However, the net profit saw a growth of 10.3% on a quarter-over-quarter basis when compared to the ₹70.45 crore reported in the quarter ending March 31, 2026. 

Annual Financial Data for FY26 

The company also provided data regarding its financial performance for the full year 2026. According to the reported figures, the total income for FY26 amounted to ₹8,908.04 crore. During the same fiscal period, the net profit or profit after tax for the company was recorded at ₹229.83 crore. 

Operational Highlights and Sector Trends 

The automotive component manufacturer leveraged healthy expansion trends across standard vehicle sectors. Domestic Indian operations achieved a 28.6% revenue jump, while international automotive units posted a spectacular 45.6% year-on-year expansion.  

Revenue derived from electric vehicle components grew by 87% year-on-year, accounting for 15.8% of total quarterly revenue. Higher commodity prices and seasonal product pricing structures compressed the consolidated quarterly EBITDA margins to 8.5%. 

Financial Position and Business Wins 

The component group secured substantial new business orders during the quarter, locking in annualized peak revenues of ₹599.10 crore. Net debt expanded marginally by ₹31.60 crore to finish at ₹526.80 crore, driven by a ₹44.10 crore net working capital increase.  

The company maintained a highly comfortable net debt-to-equity leverage ratio of 0.28x. Furthermore, the company recorded a healthy average return on capital employed of 24%.
