Bharti Airtel Share Price in Focus; Launches New Postpaid Plans with Free International Roaming

Bharti Airtel has announced new postpaid plans that include international roaming as part of the package, according to an exchange filing dated October 7, 2026.  

The plans will be available from October 8, 2026, to customers taking Airtel Postpaid connections. Existing Airtel users can also move to the new plans. 

Five-Day Roaming Pack 

The international roaming benefit covers one trip per year for each SIM. The complimentary pack provides 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calls, and 25 outgoing SMS, along with free incoming SMS. The benefits remain valid for five days.  

Customers can activate the five-day roaming pack when required, rather than at a fixed time. On family postpaid plans, the benefit is available separately for every family member included in the connection.  

Plans Range From ₹499 To ₹1,799 

The new plans start at ₹499 for an individual connection. The plan includes unlimited data and calling, spam and fraud prevention, Xstream Play Premium and Google One, along with one free international roaming trip per SIM each year. 

Family plans are priced at ₹749, ₹1,049, ₹1,249, ₹1,449, and ₹1,799. They cover between two and five SIMs. Each plan provides unlimited data and calling, spam and fraud prevention, and one free international roaming trip per SIM annually.  

Subscriptions Vary Across Plans 

The bundled subscriptions differ by plan. They include Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Apple Music, Apple iCloud+, Xstream Play Premium, and Google One. Netflix Basic is included with the ₹1,449 plan, while the ₹1,799 plan carries Netflix Standard.  

Existing Customers Can Upgrade 

Airtel customers on existing postpaid or prepaid connections can switch through the Airtel App or an Airtel Store. Customers from other telecom operators can also request a move to Airtel Postpaid through the app or a store.

As of October 7, 2026, 12:30 pm, Bharti Airtel share price was trading at ₹1,826.30, a 0.87% increase from the previous closing price.
