Bharat Forge Limited has secured contracts worth approximately ₹300 crore under the Emergency Procurement VI framework.  

These contracts focus on indigenous unmanned systems for the Indian Army and Navy, marking a significant step in India's defence modernisation. 

Bharat Forge's Strategic Defence Contracts 

On January 16, 2026, Bharat Forge Limited announced securing contracts valued at around ₹300 crore. These contracts, part of the Emergency Procurement VI framework, involve the supply of indigenous unmanned systems to the Indian Army and Navy.  

The systems include Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms and loitering munitions, specifically designed to meet urgent operational needs across various terrains. 

Showcasing Omega One at Army Day Parade 

During the Army Day Parade in Jaipur on January 15, 2026, Bharat Forge showcased the Omega One unmanned system. Mounted on an upgraded BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle, Omega One highlighted the company's capabilities in front of India's defence leadership.  

This demonstration underscores Bharat Forge's commitment to delivering indigenous solutions aligned with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.
