The agreement comes as Pratt & Whitney Canada strengthens sourcing from India. Nathalie Rivet, Vice President, Supply Chain, Pratt & Whitney Canada, said the company’s decision was based on Bharat Forge’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities, technical expertise and quality standards.
The company said the arrangement would contribute to its global supply chain and support its programmes and future requirements.

Bharat Forge is the flagship company of the Pune-based Kalyani Group. Its businesses cover automotive, aerospace, defence, rail, marine, energy, and industrial sectors.
The company has a manufacturing footprint across five countries. Its capabilities include product design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, and validation for customers across these sectors.

Bharat Forge Aerospace is involved in the design, development and manufacture of aerospace, defence and marine systems, structures and components. The business also works with global aerospace companies through manufacturing and strategic collaborations.
