
Bharat Dynamics Limited has released its audited standalone financial results for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2026.
The company reported a significant decline in both total income and net profit for the March 2026 quarter compared to the same period last year.
In the March 2026 quarter, Bharat Dynamics' total income fell by 68.1% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹599.37 crore, down from ₹1,876.55 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
This also represents a 9.7% decline from ₹663.80 crore in the December 2025 quarter.
Net profit for the March 2026 quarter stood at ₹113.18 crore, marking a 58.5% YoY decrease from ₹272.77 crore.
However, it showed a 55.2% increase from ₹72.92 crore in the December 2025 quarter.
For the financial year ending March 31, 2026, Bharat Dynamics reported a total income of ₹2,865.56 crore, a 22.5% decrease from ₹3,695.45 crore in the previous financial year.
The net profit for FY26 was ₹420.34 crore, down 23.5% from ₹549.65 crore in FY25.
The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.40 per share with a face value of ₹5 each for the year ending March 31, 2026.
This dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
As of May 27, 2026, at 3:30 PM, Bharat Dynamics share price on NSE was closed at ₹1,282.20 down by 3.59% from the previous closing price.
Bharat Dynamics Limited has experienced a notable decline in both quarterly and annual financial performance for the year ending March 2026. Despite the drop in income and profit, the company has proposed a final dividend, reflecting its commitment to shareholders.
