Astra Microwave Products has informed the exchanges that it has received a ₹171.38 crore order from the India Meteorological Department for 6 Klystron-based S-band polarimetric Doppler weather radars.

The order also covers automatic weather stations, disdrometers, a 3-year warranty period and a 7-year comprehensive annual maintenance contract, according to the company’s filing dated December 11, 2025.

Project Terms

As per the annexure submitted with the filing, the contract is a domestic award from a Government of India entity. The work includes supplying the radars and associated systems, with the entire project to be completed within 18 months.
