
Astra Microwave Products Ltd informed the exchanges that its joint venture company, Astra Rafael Comsys Pvt Ltd (ARC), has received an order worth ₹285.56 crore, inclusive of taxes.
The order was placed by the Ministry of Defence for supplying communication systems and accessories to the Special Forces of the Indian Air Force (IAF).
The order involves the procurement of specialised communication systems required by the IAF. It is a domestic order, and the company is required to complete the project within 11 months.
The total value includes applicable taxes. Astra Microwave clarified that the order is not a related-party transaction, and there is no promoter or group company interest in the entity that awarded the contract.
The joint venture, Astra Rafael Comsys Pvt. Ltd., was established between Astra Microwave Products Ltd and Rafael Advanced Defence Systems Ltd, Israel. The JV focuses on developing and producing defence communication and electronic systems within India.
Astra Microwave also stated it will receive a portion of the business from this order through its association with the joint venture.
Astra Microwave Products Ltd is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and manufactures microwave components, modules, and systems for defence, space, and meteorological use. The company operates multiple production units in Bollaram, Raviryala, and an R&D centre in Bangalore Aerospace Park.

As of November 03, 2025, 09:17 AM, Astra Microwave Products share price was trading at ₹1,063, a 1.99% increase from the previous closing price.
The ₹285.56 crore contract from the Ministry of Defence will be executed by Astra Rafael Comsys within the next 11 months. Astra Microwave is expected to handle a share of the work through the JV arrangement. The order adds to the company’s defence-related projects under execution.
