
Astra Microwave Products Limited, a Hyderabad-based defence and space electronics company engaged in the design, development and manufacture of high-performance RF, microwave and millimetre-wave systems has informed about a new order received from its joint venture entity.
Astra Microwave Products Ltd has secured an order valued at ₹124 crores, inclusive of all applicable taxes, from Astra Rafael Comsys Private Limited, its joint venture entity, for the supply of modules, cable assemblies and antennas for SDR applications.
Awarded by a domestic entity, the contract involves the delivery of critical defence-related electronic components and is scheduled to be executed over a period of 9–12 months.
Astra, has recently secured a contract valued at ₹171.38 crores from the Indian Meteorological Department for the supply of 6 Klystron-based S-band Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radars, along with associated systems, including AWS and disdrometers, covering warranty and long-term maintenance
