
Ashoka Buildcon Limited, in collaboration with Adani Road Transport Limited and Aakshaya Infra Projects Private Limited, has been awarded a significant project by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
This joint venture has secured a ₹1,815.79 crore contract for the development and pollution control of the Mithi River.
The project, titled "Mithi River Development and Pollution Control Project (Package III)," involves dry weather flow interception at tidal outfalls, transfer sewer, river training, service road, retaining wall, and allied works.
It also includes operation and maintenance for 10 years from CST Bridge Kurla to Mahim Causeway, including Vakola River, on a design, build, and operate model.
The joint venture, led by Adani Road Transport Limited with a 51% stake, includes Ashoka Buildcon Limited holding 26% and Aakshaya Infra Projects Private Limited with 23%.
The contract, awarded by a domestic entity, BMC, is structured on a design, build, and operate basis. The project is expected to be executed over 48 months, excluding the monsoon period, followed by 10 years of operation and maintenance.
The accepted bid price for the project is ₹1,815.79 crore, excluding GST. The trading window for designated persons of Ashoka Buildcon and their immediate relatives will remain closed until 48 hours after this disclosure.
