
Ashoka Buildcon has announced that it has received an additional work order worth ₹447.21 crore, including taxes, from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The order relates to its ongoing flyover project on the Sion-Panvel Highway, according to the company’s filing dated December 6, 2025.
The added scope includes the construction of Flyover Arm-1 and Arm-2 at the T Junction at Maharashtra Nagar in the M/E Ward.
This forms part of the same project disclosed in October 2024. The contract has been issued by a domestic authority and follows a percentage-rate format, as stated in the annexure submitted to the stock exchanges.
With the new order included, the total cost of the project has risen to ₹1,573.79 crore, inclusive of taxes.
The company noted that the deadline for the overall project, including the new work, has been shifted to January 13, 2028. These details were listed in the project summary shared with both exchanges.
Ashoka Buildcon stated that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the BMC. It also clarified that the work order does not fall under related-party transactions.
The filing added that the trading window for designated persons will remain closed for 48 hours after the announcement.

As of 10:59 am on December 8, 2025, Ashoka Buildcon share price was trading at ₹165.70, a 3.19% increase from the previous closing price.
The new work order increases the size and duration of the highway project, adding further construction activity to be completed under the extended schedule.
