Allied Blenders and Distillers Ltd (ABDL) has informed the exchanges that its subsidiary, Minakshi Agro Industries LLP (MAILLP), has filed a ₹34.86 crore counterclaim in an ongoing arbitration against former partner Balaji Shivdas Pawar.
MAILLP has submitted a Statement of Defence along with a Counter Claim before the sole arbitrator, seeking ₹34.86 crore (₹34,85,97,745).
The claim covers alleged financial losses, damages, litigation expenses and other costs arising from what the subsidiary described as breaches of contractual obligations by the claimant.
According to the company's disclosure, the arbitration stems from the Deed of Retirement-cum-Admission dated December 10, 2024, executed between Balaji Shivdas Pawar, MAILLP, Allied Blenders and Distillers Ltd, and another party.
The company has been named as a proforma respondent, while the counterclaim has been filed by its subsidiary.
The company said MAILLP filed the Statement of Defence and Counter Claim on July 17, 2026, before the appointed sole arbitrator.
The disclosure follows the arbitration proceedings that were previously intimated to the stock exchanges in June 2026.
