On December 11, 2025, Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella announced strategic collaborations with Cognizant, Infosys, TCS and Wipro in Bengaluru. Each company will deploy over 50,000 Microsoft Copilot licenses, collectively crossing 2,00,000, aiming to bring AI-driven transformation throughout their enterprises.
This partnership aligns with Microsoft’s planned $17.5 billion investment in cloud and AI infrastructure in India over 4 years from CY2026 to CY2029.
Cognizant is enhancing AI-driven operations by acting as the initial testing ground, or "client zero," for Microsoft Copilot. Through early adoption, the company has refined Copilot usage to support clients in data access, decision-making and innovation across industries.
This approach is expected to help its workforce and clients benefit more directly from generative AI capabilities.
Infosys is integrating Microsoft’s Intelligence Layer with its own frameworks, Infosys Topaz Fabric™ and Cobalt®, to execute multi-agent workflows across operations.
The firm’s shift towards human+agent AI models places emphasis on measurable productivity and decision-quality improvements for global clients.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has equipped tens of 1,000s of employees with Microsoft AI solutions.
Through tools such as GitHub Copilot and M365 Copilot, TCS is tailoring AI interventions in HR, finance and sales functions. Its recent global hackathon with over 2,81,000 participants also leveraged these solutions to stimulate internal innovation.
Wipro is embedding agentic AI solutions across verticals, supported by a dedicated Microsoft Innovation Hub.
With over 50,000 Copilot licenses and 25,000+ employees upskilled in Microsoft Cloud and GitHub, the partnership helps Wipro enable AI-supported customer experiences and knowledge workflows across several industries.
