Affle 3i Limited, formerly known as Affle (India) Limited, has announced the granting of a patent in India, as per the exchange filings.
This patent, which was previously granted in the US, focuses on a method and system for detecting fraud based on click-to-install behaviour. This development strengthens the company's intellectual property portfolio.
The newly granted patent involves a method that uses machine learning models to analyse click-to-install behavioural patterns in real time.
By collecting and processing data from devices, applications, and user behaviour, the system identifies deviations in parameters such as click time, redirection time, time to install, and network signals.
This enables the accurate distinction between genuine human engagements and non-human bot traffic, as well as fraudulent publisher activity.
The technology scores and blocks offending publishers in real time, ensuring that advertisers only pay for authentic consumer conversions. This patent reinforces the company's AI-powered Consumer Platform Stack's capabilities in human vs non-human data distillation and fraud prevention.
This patent grant adds to Affle 3i Limited's portfolio, which now includes 18 unique patent grants out of a total of 39 filed patents. The company currently has approximately 300 enforceable patent claims. This development reflects Affle 3i Limited's commitment to enhancing its technology leadership and strategic defensibility across markets.
