Adani Total Gas Share Price Declines Over 5% After Q2 FY27 Earnings Results

Adani Total Gas Limited reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹2,102 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹1,569 crore in the same quarter last year, an increase of 34%, as per exchange filings dated October 22, 2026.  

The results cover the quarter ended 30 September 2026. EBITDA rose 12% to ₹340 crore from ₹302 crore. Profit before tax increased 8% to ₹235 crore, against ₹217 crore a year earlier.  

Profit after tax stood at ₹167 crore, up 3% from ₹162 crore. Cash profit increased 8% to ₹254 crore. 

CNG and PNG Sales Volumes 

The company's combined CNG and PNG sales volume increased 12% year-on-year to 315 million standard cubic metres (MMSCM), compared with 280 MMSCM in Q2 FY26. 

CNG sales rose 17% to 223 MMSCM from 191 MMSCM. PNG sales increased 3% to 92 MMSCM from 89 MMSCM. Higher CNG throughput across geographical areas and the addition of stations contributed to the increase in sales volume. 

Natural Gas Costs Increase 

The cost of natural gas increased 43% during the quarter. According to the company, higher Brent-linked prices, the withdrawal of pooled gas support, and the continuing West Asia crisis contributed to the increase. 

Average allocation of APM gas for the CNG segment was around 25% in Q2 FY27. ATGL met the shortfall through domestic gas allocations, high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) gas, long-term and short-term contracts, and market purchases. 

CNG Stations and PNG Connections 

ATGL had 723 CNG stations as of 30 September 2026, following the addition of 16 stations during the quarter. Its steel pipeline network reached 16,305 inch-kilometres after expanding by 318 inch-kilometres. 

Domestic PNG connections stood at 11.81 lakh, with 39,574 households added during the quarter. Industrial and commercial connections increased to 10,864, following 442 additions. 

First Half Results 

For H1 FY27, revenue rose 31% to ₹3,999 crore and EBITDA increased 3% to ₹621 crore. Profit after tax declined 7% to ₹300 crore, while sales volume increased 13% to 618 MMSCM

As of October 23, 2026, 11:30 am, Adani Total Gas share price was trading at ₹524.00, a 5.22% decrease from the previous closing price. 

Conclusion  

Adani Total Gas expanded its CNG station network and added PNG connections during Q2 FY27. For the first half, revenue increased while profit after tax declined year-on-year.
