Adani Green Energy Share Price in Focus; Commissions 150 MW Solar Project at Khavda, Gujarat

Adani Renewable Energy Eight Limited (ARE8L), a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has operationalised a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat. 

Power generation from the project commenced on 28 June 2026, adding another operational asset to the company's renewable energy portfolio. 

Operational Capacity Update 

Following the commissioning of the project, Adani Green Energy Limited's total operational renewable generation capacity has reached 19,985.8 MW. 

The company has also reported an operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity of 3,366 MWh. 

Khavda Renewable Energy Hub 

The newly operational project is located at Khavda, Gujarat, where Adani Green Energy is expanding its renewable energy portfolio through utility-scale clean energy projects. 

The addition of the 150 MW solar plant increases the company's operational renewable capacity in the region.

As of 29 June 2026, at 12:36 PM, Adani Green Energy Ltd share price was trading at ₹1,494.70 per share, reflecting a decline of 2.06% from the previous closing price.  

Conclusion 

With the Khavda project now operational, Adani Green Energy has expanded its portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy assets while further strengthening its operational renewable and battery energy storage capacities.
