Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has expanded its renewable portfolio with the commissioning of a 292 MW solar project in Khavda, Gujarat. The development reflects continued capacity additions in its pipeline and comes alongside stable early-session movements in its share price on April 23, 2026.

Project Commissioning at Khavda

Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited (AGE26AL), a wholly owned stepdown subsidiary of AGEL, has operationalised a solar power project with a capacity of 292 MW in Khavda, Gujarat.

The decision to commence operations was taken at 7:37 p.m. on April 22, 2026, following the receipt of required clearances. Power generation from the facility began on April 23, 2026.

Expansion of Operational Capacity

With the addition of this project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has reached 19,585.8 MW.

In parallel, the company’s operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity now stands at 1,376 MWh, indicating ongoing integration of storage solutions alongside generation assets.

Adani Green Energy Share Price Performance

AGEL’s share price was ₹1,203.85, reflecting an increase of ₹4.90 (0.41%) at 10:15 AM from the previous close of ₹1,198.95.
