ACME Solar Share Price Surges 3%; Commissions 240.720 MW BESS Project in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has expanded its battery energy storage portfolio with the commissioning of a 240.720 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. 

The project has been developed through the company's wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, and was commissioned on 30 June 2026. 

Battery Energy Storage Capacity Expands 

The newly commissioned project is located at Sanwara and Mehar Nagar villages in Pokhran Tehsil of Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan. 

Following the latest addition, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited has increased its total commissioned BESS capacity to 285 MW / 842.624 MWh. 

The company said the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the project is scheduled for 2 July 2026. 

Project Update 

The commissioning follows the company's earlier update issued on 13 April 2026 regarding the development of the battery energy storage project. 

The latest milestone marks the completion of the commissioning process ahead of the project's commercial operations.
