ACME Solar Share Price Jumps Over 7% as Board Opens QIP and Commissions New BESS Capacity

The project strengthens the company's energy storage portfolio and takes its total commissioned BESS capacity to 266.669 MW/1283.936 MWh.
ACME Solar Commissions 33.33 MW BESS Project in Rajasthan
ACME Solar Holdings Limited announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Sun Power Private Limited, has commissioned a 33.333 MW/160.512 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project located in Badi Sid village, Bap Tehsil, across the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan.
The project was commissioned on June 1, 2026, while the Commercial Operation Date (COD) has been scheduled for June 3, 2026.
Following the commissioning of this project, ACME Sun Power Private Limited's total commissioned BESS capacity has reached 266.669 MW/1283.936 MWh, further expanding the group's presence in the energy storage segment.
ACME Solar QIP Details
The board of ACME Solar Holdings Limited approved the opening of its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue and fixed the floor price at ₹294.13 per equity share.
The floor price represents a discount of 4.16% to Monday’s closing price of ₹306.90 on the BSE. The company has also retained the flexibility to offer a discount of up to 5% on the floor price at its discretion.
The board formally authorised and declared the opening of the QIP issue on June 1, 2026. The fundraising exercise is expected to support the company's growth initiatives and capital requirements.
ACME Solar Share Price Performance
As of June 2, 2026, at 11:34 AM, ACME Solar share price was trading at ₹330.40, up 7.66% compared to the previous day's closing price on the BSE.
The stock hit a new 52-week high of ₹334.50 on June 2, 2026. Trading volumes also witnessed a significant spike, rising more than 1.74 times compared to average levels.
