
ACME Solar Holdings Limited has advanced its energy storage portfolio with the commissioning of the fourth phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan.
The development reflects the company’s continued focus on strengthening its presence in grid-scale energy storage infrastructure.
The company, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Surya Power Private Limited, has commissioned Phase IV of the BESS project located in Jaimalsar, Bikaner. This phase adds a capacity of 32.366 MW along with 145.435 MWh of storage capability.
The commercial operation date (COD) for this phase has been set as April 15, 2026.
With the addition of the fourth phase, the total commissioned capacity of the project has reached 139.509 MW and 626.875 MWh.
The phased commissioning approach highlights the company’s strategy of scaling up storage capacity in a structured manner to support grid stability and renewable integration.
Battery energy storage systems are becoming increasingly critical for balancing intermittent renewable energy sources such as solar and wind.
The project is expected to play a role in improving grid reliability and enabling better utilisation of renewable power generation.
ACME Solar’s continued investments in BESS infrastructure indicate its focus on building capabilities in next-generation energy solutions alongside its core renewable energy portfolio.

As of 13 April 2026, ACME Solar share price is trading at ₹283.90 per share, reflecting a surge of 5.68% from the previous closing price.
