ACME Solar Share Price in Focus; Commissions 66.68 MW Solar and 300 MWh BESS Capacity in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings has commissioned 66.68 MW of solar capacity and 300 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity in Bikaner, Rajasthan, as per the exchange filing. 

The solar and storage projects have been developed through subsidiaries and form part of two separate renewable energy projects at the same location.  

Phase-I Solar Capacity Commissioned 

ACME Solar, through ACME Renewtech Private Limited, has commissioned the first phase of a 300 MW solar project at Kelan Village in Bikaner. 

The commissioned capacity stands at 66.68 MW. The project is part of ACME Solar's first hybrid renewable energy project, which combines 300 MW of solar with 100 MW of wind capacity.  

NTPC PPA For Hybrid Project 

The power purchase agreement for the hybrid project has been signed with NTPC Limited, while long-term project financing has been arranged through PFC. 

ACME Solar expects to complete the remaining solar capacity and reach the full 300 MW by the end of Q3 FY27.  

BESS Project Adds 300 MWh 

Separately, ACME Solar has commissioned Phase-I of the BESS component of its FDRE project through ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited. 

The commissioned phase comprises 53.63 MW / 300 MWh, against the project's planned 300 MW / 1,581 MWh BESS capacity.  

SJVN PPA For Storage Project 

The FDRE project is ACME Solar's first assured off-peak power supply project. Its PPA has been signed with SJVN Limited, with REC providing long-term project financing. 

The company expects the entire BESS capacity under this project to be commissioned by Q3 of the current fiscal year.  

Operational BESS Crosses 4 GWh 

With the latest commissioning, ACME Solar's operational BESS capacity has reached 4.16 GWh, crossing the 4 GWh mark.

Its operational renewable energy capacity has also risen to around 3,057 MW.

As of 16 September 2026, at 1:35 PM, ACME Solar Holdings Limited share price is trading at ₹416.95 per share, reflecting a decline of 0.82% from the previous trading session. 

Conclusion 

The latest commissioning adds both solar generation and battery storage to ACME Solar's operating portfolio, with further capacity planned at the same Rajasthan projects.
