InterGlobe Aviation Ltd (IndiGo) has signed a one-year memorandum of understanding with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to jointly promote travel between India and Singapore. This is the airline’s first formal partnership with a national tourism board.

Joint Promotional Campaigns

The agreement includes joint marketing activities aimed at positioning Singapore as a key business and leisure destination for Indian travellers. Campaigns will run across multiple platforms to drive route-level bookings through IndiGo’s network.

IndiGo’s Connectivity to Singapore

IndiGo currently operates flights to Singapore from nine Indian cities. In total, over 270 weekly flights from 15 Indian cities connect to Singapore via Changi Airport. The airline’s existing frequency gives it access to a broad base of outbound Indian travellers.

Visitor Traffic from India to Singapore

As per STB data, more than 5 lakh Indian visitors travelled to Singapore in the first half of 2025. India remains among the top three source markets for Singapore tourism, supported by consistent air capacity and connectivity.

IndiGo to Introduce Business Class Product

IndiGo is set to introduce its business class product, IndiGoStretch, on the Delhi-Singapore and Mumbai-Singapore routes. The service is scheduled to begin on August 9, 2025, which also coincides with Singapore’s National Day.

As part of the collaboration, a year-long tourism campaign titled Untold Singapore will be rolled out. It will focus on driving awareness and interest among Indian passengers through both digital and offline promotions.

”As we celebrate 60 years of India-Singapore diplomatic relations in 2025, our expanded collaboration with IndiGo and the launch of the year-long ’Untold Singapore’ campaign positions us to harness the potential of India’s dynamic travel market,” stated Melissa Ow, Chief Executive, Singapore Tourism Board.
