KNR Constructions Secures Irrigation Projects in Telangana

KNR Constructions Limited (KNRCL) announced two significant project approvals from the Irrigation & CAD Department in Telangana.
First Project Details
The first project involves the construction of the SRLIP to Paleru Link Canal, Package No. 13. The scope of work includes earthwork excavation, embankment formation, and concrete lining, along with the construction of various CM & CD structures.
The project spans from Km 0.000 near Chimalapadu village, Singareni Mandal, to Km 10.500 near Burda Raghavapuram village, Enkoor Mandal, in Khammam District, Telangana.
The contract has been awarded to a joint venture (JV) comprising KNRCL (51%), ACPL (20%), and SVK (29%), valued at ₹198.28 crores (excluding GST). The project is expected to be completed within 24 months, followed by a defect liability period of two years.
Second Project Details
The second project, worth ₹327.89 crores (excluding GST), involves Package No. 6 of the Sitarama Lift Irrigation Project (SRLIP).
The scope includes earthwork excavation, embankment formation, and the construction of canals and structures for distributaries D-1 to D-15 of Sathupally Main Canal and D-16 to D-35 of NTR Flood Flow Canal.
This project also has a contract period of 24 months, with an additional defect liability period of two years.
With these contracts, KNRCL continues to demonstrate its expertise in executing large-scale irrigation and infrastructure projects.
On January 6, 2025, KNR Constructions share price opened at ₹356.00, touching the day’s low at ₹356.95, as of 10:10 AM on the NSE.
