Bosch Share Price in Focus; Reports 6.4% Revenue Growth in Q2 FY 2025 Financial Results

Bosch was in the spotlight on Wednesday after the company announced its financial results for the second quarter of FY 2025 on Tuesday. Q2 FY 2024-25 Financial Highlights
The company posted a total revenue from operations of ₹4,394 crore (478 million euros), marking a 6.4% year-on-year increase. This growth was primarily driven by increased sales in the passenger car segment and off-highway applications, particularly in genset solutions.
The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT), excluding exceptional items, reached ₹677 crore (74 million euros), representing 15.4% of total revenue. This is a notable increase of 27.3% compared to the same period last year. Including exceptional items, the PBT stood at ₹726 crore (79 million euros), which is 16.5% of revenue. The exceptional items include gains from the sale of Bosch’s OE/OES diagnosis business.
The Profit After Tax (PAT), including exceptional items, stood at ₹536 crore (58 million euros), accounting for 12.2% of the total revenue from operations. Bosch’s solid performance reflects its strong position in key automotive and off-highway segments, supported by strategic business decisions.
Commenting on the financial performance, the President of the Bosch Group, India, and Managing Director, Bosch Limited, Guruprasad Mudlapur, said, “Despite unpredictable rainfall and several macroeconomic factors affecting the automotive industry’s overall performance this quarter, we showcased our capacity to adapt to changing market demands and provide high-quality solutions that align with our customers’ needs.
