PTC Industries Limited has announced the successful acquisition of 100% ownership in Trac Holdings Limited, which owns Trac Precision Solutions.

Acquisition Details

Trac, based in the UK, is renowned for its high-precision manufacturing of turbine blades, nozzle guide vanes, heat shields, and other critical components used in aerospace, defence, and power generation industries.

This acquisition aligns with PTC Industries’ strategic goals, bringing together two leaders with complementary capabilities. Trac’s advanced technologies, such as 5-axis CNC grinding, electro-discharge machining, and deep hole drilling, are highly regarded for their precision and consistency, supporting major OEMs like Rolls Royce, Safran, and Siemens.

The integration of Trac Precision Solutions into the PTC family strengthens PTC’s position as a leading player in aerospace and defence manufacturing. The acquisition also expands PTC’s capabilities in high-temperature gas turbines and aero engines, adding value to its existing offerings.

Trac’s specialised manufacturing techniques cater to complex components that must withstand extreme environments, with temperatures exceeding 1,650°C, making it a vital partner for global OEMs.

Furthermore, Trac’s addition complements PTC’s subsidiary, Aerolloy Technologies, which specializes in titanium and superalloy casting for aerospace and defence applications. Aerolloy’s focus on aerofoil castings, including single crystal and directionally solidified blades, aligns perfectly with Trac’s machining expertise.

Together, PTC, Aerolloy, and Trac form a complete manufacturing value chain, offering end-to-end solutions from alloy development to precision-machined components, positioning the company for growth in the global aerospace, defence, and power sectors.

This acquisition enhances PTC’s ability to provide innovative, high-performance solutions and establishes a stronger global footprint, supporting its long-term commitment to delivering high-quality products for mission-critical applications.

On December 20, 2024, PTC Industries share price opened at ₹11,799.90, touching the day’s low at ₹11,640.30, as of 9:36 AM on the NSE.
